To foster and support programs and initiatives that strengthen a safe community and enhance the quality of life in Ventura.

OUR PROGRAMS

Youth Programs

Positive and proactive opportunities such as the Ventura Police Activities League (PAL) which supports after school and youth mentoring programs designed to reduce crime-related risk and help disadvantaged youth grow into productive citizens.

Community Programs

Projects that enhance the relationship between the community and the Ventura Police Department.

Public Safety Programs

Initiatives that address specific public safety needs, improve police effectiveness, and office safety through the use of specialized equipment, evolving technology and other innovations.

Chillin’ with VPD

Chief’s Luncheon

Unity Day

Ventura Police School Resource Officer Jamey MacLellan helped organize a anti-bullying campaign for the Ventura Unified School District’s elementary schools. The VPCF was proud to support this great event by purchasing orange Unity bracelets which were given to all participants as a symbol of kindness and working together to promote a positive learning environment.
